Last month's font Kimchi
Created by German designer Henning Brehm and named for the Korean condiment, Kimchi was created to be used in the menus, ads and packaging of Papa Song, a fictional, futuristic underground fast food restaurant in “Neo Seoul” — one of the settings in the 2012 film Cloud Atlas. Kimchi was later developed into a real, useable font and released in October 2012 by Dutch foundry VetteLetters, which revels in the storefront typography of kebab shops and fish-and-chip joints. The foundry recommends designers use Kimchi for headlines, street art stencils and logo fonts.
