RGD Ontario joins Icograda

TORONTO—The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario is now a member of Icograda, the International Council of Graphic Design Associations.

RGD Ontario executive director Hilary Ashworth says the move reflects the association’s commitment to increasing recognition of the R.G.D. designation internationally.

Other benefits include access to design organizations and resources from around the world.

“Membership gives us and our members the opportunity to stay abreast on international design issues and trends,” says Ashworth.

And RGD Ontario has a lot to share with the global design community, she says, such as its accrediting process, DesignThinkers and its national salary survey.

“Hopefully, with promotion of DesignThinkers around the world, we will begin to see international participation in the conference and further opportunities for delegates to network and share with peers from around the world.” Contact: www.icograda.org
