Spark shuts Toronto chapter
TORONTO—Spark has pulled the plug on its Canadian expansion, citing potential liability issues with the use of its name for Toronto events.
Spark is a networking and professional development organization for independent designers that was established seven years ago in New York. Its first Toronto event has held on February 3rd.
"It might come back in the future, right now it's just not a good time," says Natalia Perez Wahlberg, the former host of Spark Toronto. Contact: www.sparknyc.org
