Art from the Unexpected raises $20,000
TORONTO—The Who’s Who of Canada’s advertising and marketing industries gathered last night at Steamwhistle Brewery for Art from the Unexpected. Presidents and CEOs from some of the country’s top ad and marketing agencies were asked to create a piece of artwork for the event based on the theme of eureka. Twenty pieces were auctioned off to the tune of $20,000. Photography by Henderson Bas president Dawna Henderson received the highest bid at $1,800. Money raised went to SKETCH, a local arts charity for street-involved and homeless youth.
