CMA helps laid off members
TORONTO—Though there are signs that the economy is beginning to take a turn for the better, many designers still find themselves out of work as a result of the recession. To help its members through this difficult time, the Canadian Marketing Association has announced details of a program to help those who have recently been laid off.

The program includes:
  • Discounted CMA member rates for any CMA Event to those who have been laid off by a CMA member organization
  • Unlimited access to marketing-jobs.ca and the ability to post resumés on the site
  • The ability to post articles on CMA's Canadian Marketing blog
  • Access to the nearly 1,500 marketing professionals that have signed up for the CMA group on LinkedIn
