Don Watt was truly a DESIGN PIONEER - he helped elevate the designer’s role to a strategic creative partner - welcome in Canadian boardrooms.

He was an early supporter of Communication Designers of Toronto (CDOT) and I am glad that we were able to honour him and his accomplishments last April.

Don and Patty Watt were the nicest people I never worked for. They interviewed me in the early '80s for a senior position - I was comparatively inexperienced back then. It was the most pleasant and civilised interview I've ever had.
