Don Watt retrospective opens this Thursday

TORONTO—A memorial and exhibition celebrating the life of the late design pioneer Don Watt (1936 - 2009) is being held at the Ontario College of Art and Design from April 22 to 25. The free event will showcase Watt’s iconic work. He is world renowned for his packaging and retail work on brands such as President’s Choice, No Name and Home Depot.

Watt died on December 23, 2009 at the age of 73. He is widely remembered for his revolutionary designs, and by the people who knew him, for his kindness and generosity.
