Creative talent honoured at Summit International Awards
PORTLAND, OR – Summit International Awards (SIA) recently handed out accolades in its latest round of competition. 2010 Summit Creative Awards is one of three awards programs the SIA hosts throughout the year. The Marketing Effectiveness Awards and the Emerging Media Awards round out the trio.

The spring Creative Awards highlights the creative achievements of small to mid-sized marketing, advertising, graphic design and other creative firms with billings of less than $30 million.

Vying for top spot was Direct Antidote Custom We Design of Toronto with 12 awards, which tied with Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Blenderbox for the Top Agency Award.
 
Other Canadian highlights include Best of Show winners Les Kreateurs from Laval, Que., for Newspaper Fractional Page and Maclean Group from Kelowna, B.C., for Public Service Announcement.

Bronze and silver winners were: LXB Communication Marketing from Quebec City; Fingerprint Communications of Toronto; Agence Braque of Montreal; Rich Media of North York, Ont.; Red the Agency of Edmonton; Hanger 18 of Vancouver; Chester + Company of Halifax; GGRP of Vancouver; Channel 1 Media of Toronto; BAM Strategy of Montreal; Nyman Ink of Toronto and Changemakers Marketing Communications of Winnipeg. 

Gold, silver and bronze medal winners were selected in different categories representing all aspects of marketing communications. Best of Show awards were given to gold medal winners in five areas including print, broadcast, interactive media, self-promotion and public service.
