Typographer James Alexander of Graphex passes away
VANCOUVER—Typographer James Alexander of Graphex Advertising has recently passed away.

An obituary posted on the Vancouver Sun explains that Typex (eventually Graphex) "allowed Jim to make use of his extraordinary talents."

The obituary notes he attended Ryerson Polytechnic and first owned The Seymour Press. It adds he was once also the head of the printing department at Vancouver Vocational Institute.

The Graphex website states the business has been in operation since 1974.

Alexander was 70.
