Creatives on the Move: Secret Location, OCAD U, DX
TORONTO—Secret Location in Toronto has added some firepower to keep up with "record" business growth.

The Toronto interactive studio has added Graham Budd as director of business development and hired five new employees — developers Adam Drake, Josh Manricks, and Paul Stodolak, producer Kathryn Rawson, and designer Jory Kruspe.

Budd was previously director of branded entertainment at Cue Digital Media.

Secret Location boasts project wins with Astral's The Movie Network, Entertainment One, History Television and john st., while reporting a Digital Emmy nomination for Endgame Interactive, a "choose your own adventure mystery."

The Design Exchange (DX) in Toronto has just announced that Toronto-based "design industry innovator" Shauna Levy has been named its new president. Levy was formerly vice president of MMPI Canada, and co-founded the internationally-acclaimed Interior Design Show (IDS).

Shaw Communications has announced the appointment of Jim Little as chief marketing officer effective April 26. Little was previously chief brand and communications officer at RBC. He has also held similar roles at Alcan, Bell and Bombardier.

Zoom Media, "the largest targeted lifestyle media in Canada" using billboards to reach its audiences, has named a new national director of media integration, Wade Makarus. He comes from Cundari Group, where he was group account director for Ontario's Subway franchisees and Rust-Oleum businesses.

Steve Billinger joins OCAD University in Toronto as executive director of business development and innovation. OCAD says Billinger has more than 20 years experience in digital media, strategy and business development in Canada, U.K. and U.S. He will lead OCAD 's new Imagination Catalyst.
