GDC elects new National Executive
MONCTON, NB—At its annual general meeting held in Moncton in late April, the 2012 National Council fo the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) elected its new National Executive Board for the 2012-2014 term.

The new executive members and national committe chairpersons include:

Adrian Jean (Ottawa) as president;
Jim Hudson (Moncton) as past-president;
Ana Herrara (Edmonton) as treasurer;
Naoko Masuda (Calgary) as corporate secretary;
Marga Lopez (North Vancouver) VP membership;
Karin Jager (North Vancouver) VP education;
Scott Gillam (Winnipeg) VP web;
Matthew Warburton (Vancouver) VP communications.

Dean McNeill (Halifax) chair, Certification Committee;
Valerie Elliott (Victoria) chair, Sustainability Committee;
David Berman (Ottawa)  chair, Ethics Committee;
Peggy Cady (Victoria) chair, GDC Foundation.

Each Chapter (including Members at Large) is represented on the National Council by its president and up to two national representatives.
