TORONTO—Tickets are going fast for what promises to be the Canadian design party of the year. Design Edge's 2012 Regional Design Awards celebration, taking place at The Hoxton (King and Bathurst) on June 26, will culminate in the announcement of category and Best of Region winners. It will also feature an exhibit of finalists' work, an inspirational talk by Canadian design pioneer Ken Rodmell and munchies catered by the folks at Parkdale's Parts & Labour restaurant.

Tickets for the event are $10 each plus HST when ordered in advance or $20 at the door.

Buy your tickets here. Party attendees will leave with an advance copy of Design Edge's 2012 Regional Design Awards Annual.

Firms with work in the exhibit are from across the country and include (among others), from the east coast Target, Trampoline Branding and Extreme Group; from the west coast Ion Branding + Design, smashLAB, Subplot Design and TAXI Vancouver, and from parts inbetween Foundry Communications, Sid Lee, Cossette, Departement, TAXI, Zulu Alpha Kilo, Soapbox Design Communications, Concrete Design Communications, Compass360, Shikatani Lacroix, Up Inc. and Underline Studio.
