ClarkHuot/Cocoon acquires Winnipeg's Vantage Studios
WINNIPEG—ClarkHuot/Cocoon, an integrated communications agency with offices in Winnipeg and New York City, is growing again.

The company announced today it has acquired Winnipeg's Vantage Studios, a design studio with in-house digital printing and production capabilities.

Vantage Studios was formed in 2005 and has grown to become a leading design and production studio that includes a "state-of-the-art" digital printing facility.

"Adding Vantage Studios as an operating unit of ClarkHuot/Cocoon will have a direct benefit to our clients by providing access to new talent and increased in-house production capabilities," said Kyle Romaniuk, managing director of ClarkHuot/Cocoon. "Our strategy as an agency has always been to look for new ways of integrating services. Content production is also critical to all of our clients, and now we have further strengthened our ability to produce it."

Vantage Studios will continue to operate under its own distinct brand as a "strategic business unit" of ClarkHuot/Cocoon. Donavan Robinson will continue as general manager of the business.

"It's exciting to enhance our offering with a business built around creativity and its application to tangible product. The digital printing business is a growing sector and we see this as a very strategic benefit for our firm and our collective group of clients," said Romaniuk.

"The move to join ClarkHuot/Cocoon made a lot of sense for us as our businesses are highly complementary," commented Donavan Robinson, owner and creative director of Vantage Studios. "Looking forward, I believe this move will result in a new and inspiring place where we are always producing great work."

Earlier this year, Winnipeg agencies Clark+Huot, Cocoon Branding and Velocity Branding/Spacecadet Design announced they had joined forces as ClarkHuot/Cocoon.
