TORONTO—Do you know a print sales hero? Here's your chance to give them some recognition.

Unisource Canada has announced the return of the CMYK Idol Contest to recognize the talent of Canada’s top print sales representatives as chosen by designers and end users.

Between Aug. 6 and Oct. 26, the Canadian graphic arts community is invited to nominate and then vote for their favourite print sales representative via online ballot.

The contest winners will be picked based on the number of votes casted for them by their supporters. One winner will be selected for Ottawa & Eastern Canada; Ontario excluding Ottawa; Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Territories and British Columbia.

The four winners will be announced on Nov. 14. Each CMYK Idol champ will be featured in an advertising spot in the January 2013 issue of Design Edge Canada magazine and will also receive a $1,500 gift certificate at Fairmont Hotels to be used anywhere in Canada.

In addition to the prizes for the winning Print Sales Reps, this year’s contest includes 44 prizes that will be awarded at random to those nominating and voting in the contest, noted Unisource. Four Fairmont Hotel $200 gift certificates (one per region) will be awarded throughout the 11 weeks of the nomination and voting periods.
