"Because many agencies participate in work across North America, if the agency was part of the concept, it is acceptable for the agency to enter the Lotus Awards. In addition, if agencies located in another province or country worked on projects that ran in B.C., they are welcome to enter the Lotus Awards.
The creative team, creative director and account manager who worked on the project [in question] were based in B.C. It was also produced in B.C.
We did review this entry and discussed it with the judges before allowing it to move forward."
